Echuca Court House(former)
The former Echuca Court House is located at 4Law Court Place, Echuca. It is a fine intact example of a provincial hall with projecting bays and portico motif of the Dickson Street facade one of it's more unusual featyres The Echuca Court House was erected in the 1870s as the Shire Hall abd was purchased by the government c 1880. The plain exposed brick walls of the single storey brick structure are articulated with stucco mouldings. The three bay Hopwood Gardens facade has a small central Doric portico. The Dickson Street facade comprises a series of three projecting wings, in the central wing the Doric portico motif is repeated |
