River Explorer is a company providing guided boat tours or private charters on the rivers around Echuca and Moama. The major rivers toured are the Edward at Deniliquin and the Murray within 100 kms of Echuca.  We have the flexibility to travel from dawn to dusk and you'll be surprised by the many faces of the Murray and Edward Rivers. In the early morning (dawn) an inland river is very quiet and peaceful with only the occasional fisherman about. Later in the morning the river seems to come awake, more boats, more people around generally more activity. 

The ambience changes with urgency of life. As the afternoon flows into the evening it becomes magical. Birds are returning from foraging to their roosts, the weather is cooling, the shadows lengthening and when it gets later a view of the sun setting from the river or its banks can be phenomenal. The seasons also impact on the river system and it surrounds, after a rain the bush is vibrant and fresh with the smell of eucalypts pervading the air or when the wattles are out masses of yellow appear.
