In the old Bond Store (circa. 1858) is Sharp's Magic Movie House and Penny Arcade. This unusual attraction recreates the kind of place which was popular with holidaymakers at the turn of the century. There are a huge variety of old penny arcade machines and the proprietors have an interesting collection of old films including old newsreels, shorts and early Australian films. This exciting venue consists of a 1920's style picture theatre with, seating for 60 patrons.
A continuous montage of film is presented throughout the day, including old time comedy classics, Australian archival material, relevant local Murray River footage, shorts and other features. Tickets valid all day. The Antique Penny Arcade contains rare penny arcade machines, operated by fair dinkum pennies (some supplied with your movie ticket). Some antique penny arcade machines pay-out pennies if you Win. Additional pennies can be purchased.
