Moira Grass (Pseudoraphis spinescens) is sometimes called Spiny Mud Grass, Moira Grass is semi-aquatic. It is turf-like when growing at the water's edge, but can form floating masses. Most growth takes place in the summer months and is thought to have a stabilising role on river and stream banks.
